Minister for States and Frontier Regions Abdul Qadir Baloch has urged the international community to help Pakistan in the repatriation of Afghan refugees, Radio Pakistan reported on Thursday.
Addressing a press conference in Islamabad, Baloch acknowledged that the sustainable return of refugees to Afghanistan depended on the state of security and living conditions in the country.
United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees Antonio Guterres also attended the press conference.

Baloch reiterated the need for international support and resources to ensure better living opportunities for the returning refugees.
Pakistan is host to 1.5 million registered Afghan refugees.
The government is likely to commence the registration of around one million undocumented Afghan migrants in July, followed by the issuance of travel documents by the Afghan government, Baloch said.
