Anti-Corruption Department : Female officers to be inducted

The Anti-Corruption Department has decided to induct female officers in all districts of the Rawalpindi region to arrest and investigate female employees in corruption-related cases. Sources said that no female officer was currently working as an investigator in the Anti-Corruption Department and help from lady police constables was being sought, whenever the need arises, to investigate such cases. The sources said that complaints against female employees of different government departments were pending with the Anti-Corruption Department Rawalpindi region, which needed urgent disposal. The sources added that in the first phase, lady constables will be hired followed by appointment of lady assistant directors and assistant sub-inspectors.
