PPP holds respect for the army and pointed out that parties which were against the operation Zarb-e-Azb
KARACHI:
Sindh Minister for Information and Local Government Sharjeel Inam Memon said that Pakistan Peoples Party is being tried by the media but also added that this would not serve any purpose as all the fabricated allegations have yet to be proved.
Addressing the Sindh Assembly for the budget discussion, the provincial minister disclosed that menaces prevalent in the city like China-cutting, land mafia, drug mafia, smuggled Iranian petrol, illegal marriage halls are a legacy of Arbab Rahim’s governance, whose party is now levelling charges against the PPP.
He said that PPP holds respect for the army and pointed out that parties which were against the operation Zarb-e-Azb and wanted to offices of Taliban to reopen now have no option but to support the operation.
Memon said that criminal and terrorist activities in Karachi city have been under control due to the efforts made by the police and Rangers.
Rejecting the opposition’s charges, the provincial minister said that he could expose the parties who now wanted to join the government with PPP but were criticising the Sindh government, adding that PML-F and Sherazi brothers were willing to join the provincial government.
