Lack of evidence: Court frees murder suspect

Police had registered a case against him on the complaint of the victim’s brother, Aslam

LAHORE:
An additional district and sessions judge on Saturday freed a man accused of murdering a neighbour.


According to the prosecution, Asghar Ali stabbed Razia Bibi after an argument a year ago. Police had registered a case against him on the complaint of the victim’s brother, Aslam. On Saturday, the court cleared Ali of all charges after the prosecution witnesses refused to testify against him.
