A Russian man was among three people found dead in the city on Saturday.


The body of the Russian man was found at Sandspit. He was taken to Civil Hospital, Karachi, for autopsy where doctors kept his post-mortem report reserved and sent the samples for chemical examination to ascertain the cause of death.


Mauripur SHO Madad Ali Zardari said that the victim used to work at the Russian consulate in Karachi. The SHO added that he had gone to the beach for a picnic with his friends where he apparently drowned.


Separately, the bodies of two men were found in Pak Colony. The bodies were taken to Civil Hospital, Karachi for autopsy. Police officials said that the bodies were about three days old, while the cause of death has yet to be ascertained.
