The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has decided to start rehabilitation work on roads and other infrastructures in I and G sectors on a priority basis.
A source said that the CDA chairman has directed the civic agency’s engineering wing to issue tenders to start work in these sectors. The project include road-carpeting, lane-marking, drainage system and installation of sign boards and side blocks. The construction and rehabilitation work will be divided into different parts and roads at different big markets and shopping centres will be carpeted on a priority basis, the source said.
