MoU signed: ICCI, Roots to promote entrepreneurial skills among youth
Chamber to provide internship to Roots’ students
The Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI) and the Roots Millennium Schools have signed a memorandum of understanding to enhance cooperation for promoting entrepreneurial spirit among youth.
The ICCI President, Muzzamil Hussain Sabri and Roots Millennium Schools (RMS) Chief Executive Officer Chaudhry Faisal Mushtaq signed the MoU at the Chamber House here, said a press release issued on Saturday.
The main objective of the MoU is to encourage the students of the RMS towards entrepreneurship as well as to promote industry-academia linkages.
The ICCI will provide internships to the school’s students and will provide them mentorship and guidance on acquiring entrepreneurial skills.
The RMS students will also be engaged in event management activities. In return RMS will share industrial research studies with the ICCI for the benefit of the local industry. RMS will provide 50 per cent discount in admission fee and 10 per cent discount in monthly tuition fee to the children of the ICCI members for study at its schools. The monthly fee discount shall be applicable from play group to secondary education level.
Mushtaq said that the RMS had gained national and international recognition for providing quality education.
He said that the RMS had achieved academic excellence and all round development of students over nearly 30 years. The RMS has won the fastest 100 growing companies of Pakistan award and 500 fastest growing companies of Arabia and the Gulf region from the All World Network, USA, Mushtaq said.
He vowed that the RMS would continue to provide international standard education to the students.
