Wheat release price to remain unchanged
The committee on wheat release policy decides to maintain wheat release price for a month.
LAHORE:
The committee on wheat release policy has decided to maintain the current price for wheat release for one month, announced Senior and Adviser to Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Zulfiqar Ali Khan Khosa on Wednesday. He was presiding over a meeting of the committee.
The committee will finalise its recommendations regarding release of current stocks for 2010-11 and submit them to the chief minister of Punjab for approval, he added.
He assured that growers’ problems will be solved on a priority basis enabling them to achieve maximum wheat and other agricultural output.
