CID custody: TTP activist remanded till Dec 18
Police allege to have recovered two Kalashnikovs, 10 kg of explosives, three detonators and a detonator chord.

Malir’s judicial magistrate Aslam Shaikh remanded on Wednesday Abdul Rahman alias ‘Qasai’ (The Butcher) to the custody of the Criminal Investigation Department police till Dec 18 on Wednesday.
He is accused of being a commander of the banned Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan and was declared arrested on Tuesday from Sohrab Goth.
Police alleged to have recovered two Kalashnikovs, 10 kilogrammes of explosives, three detonators and a detonator chord.
In the request for remand, the police said that six accomplices managed to flee to the Punjab and Abdul Rahman’s physical custody was essential to nab the absconders.
The police allege that he was planning to attack the main Muharram processions on the 9th or 10th and target religious or political figures.
