Ramazan arrangements: Security heightened for Taraveeh
SSP directed to ensure fool proof security arrangements in the city on eve of Ramadan
ISLAMABAD:
Senior Superintendent of Police Islamabad Sajid Kiani has directed all police officials to arrange their ‘Iftari’ with those policemen performing duties at various pickets in the city. Addressing the policemen here at National Library, the SSP directed to ensure fool proof security arrangements in the city on eve of Ramadan especially during Taraveeh and prayers. He directed all heads of police stations to ensure fool proof security arrangements in their respective areas. He asked senior level police officials to monitor security duties while Falcon Vehicles, teams of QRF and Bravo Vehicles will ensure patrolling in the assigned areas. Policemen also perform duties at busy shopping centres and public places to keep vigilant eye on car lifters and criminals while special police teams will also patrol in the various areas besides special checking at entry as well as exit points of the city.
