Financial irregularities alleged in Hockey WC

Former chief of Indian Hockey Federation Kanwar Pal Singh Gill alleged financial irregularities in the 2010 New Delhi Men's Hockey World Cup.
The cup was organised by Hockey India, the top governing body appointed on an ad hoc basis by the Indian government.
Gill said the World Cup has cost India over 150 million Indian rupees.
He said the Indian Hockey Federation had conducted the Asia Cup in 2007 with only 8.7 million Indian rupees.
