Safer roads: 300 LTV drivers complete training
Training was imparted using driving simulators, multimedia mechanical lab, cockpit drills, road sign exercises

The training of the second batch of 300 light transport vehicle (LTV) drivers concluded at the NH&MP Training College on Tuesday. The training was organised by the National Highways and Motorway Police and Punjab Skills Development Fund project. NH&MP Inspector General Saleem Bhatti said that the drivers got jobs in various multi-national companies on the completion of their training. He said English, Arabic and Urdu were taught to the participants of the three-month training course. “Training was imparted using driving simulators, multimedia mechanical lab, cockpit drills, road sign exercises and practical driving on a state-of-the-art driving track,” he said. Later, Bhatti distributed certificates and cash awards among the position holders.
