Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh might be thanking his stars for a few things in his life. But the way his fate is entwined with Bollywood superstar Ranbir Kapoor, is unbelievably surprising, reported BollywoodLife.
Don’t jump to conclusions here. This time it's not about their ladylove, Ranveer's present and Ranbir's past, Deepika Padukone, but a little more than that.

Bombay Velvet‘s debacle could have been an albatross around Ranveer’s neck while Dil Dhadakne Do could have been a feather on Ranbir’s cap but few things are meant to be different. And so we feel, Ranveer has reasons to celebrate.
According to Bollywood Life, a senior Indian journalist mentioned in his column that Bombay Velvet was initially a Ranveer Singh project. Post Lootera, the man was Phantom’s go-to-actor. He was not only supposed to feature in Anurag Kashyap’s BV but was also apparently in talks to feature in the Magadheera remake. But Anurag had to settle with Ranbir since his partner Vikas Bahl took the script to the actor, who just lapped it up.

As for Dil Dhadakne Do, it is an open secret that the film was first offered to the real-life siblings Ranbir and Kareena Kapoor Khan but both couldn’t commit to it and it fell on Ranveer and Priyanka Chopra’s laps.
