LAHORE: Pakistan Tehrik Insaf’s Lahore chapter organiser Shafqat Mahmood announced an organising committee on Saturday. Besides Mian Mahmoodur Rasheed, the deputy organiser, the 18-member committee comprises Shoaib Siddiqi, Jamshed Iqbal Cheema, Dr Zarqa Taimoor, Dr Murad Raas, Hamid Mairaj, Yasir Gillani, Hamid Zaman, Zaheer Abbas Khokhar, Hammad Azhar, Nawaz Nat, Mansha Sindhu, Ali Imtiaz Warraich, Mian Aslam Iqbal, and Sheikh Imtiaz. The committee will hold its first meeting on Sunday (today) to deliberate a course of action for the party’s re-organisation in the city. Separately, Dr Atifuddin was appointed to the office of information secretary for the Lahore chapter of the party.
