Load shedding: Sehar and iftar times to be exempt, says Abid
He said grid stations were being upgraded and billions of rupees had been budgeted for this purpose

“Steps are being taken to provide uninterrupted power consumers during sehar and iftar during Ramazan,” said State Minister for Water and Power Chaudhary Abid Sher Ali on Saturday.
He was addressing the inauguration of expansion of Transformer Reclamation Workshop by Faisalabad Electric Supply Company (FESCO) on Saturday.
He said grid stations were being upgraded and billions of rupees had been budgeted for this purpose.
Earlier, the FESCO chief told the state minister about the workshop and said some 28,889 transformers had been repaired at the workshop since 2003. He said FESCO had saved Rs704 million by repairing the transformers at its own workshop. He said Rs23.6 million would be spent on the expansion of the workshop.
