Raid: Five militants nabbed from Khyber

Acting on intelligence information, paramilitary force Swat Scouts raided a hujra and arrested the militants

JAMRUD: The security forces arrested five militants, including a key commander, from Ghundi area of Jamrud tehsil, Khyber Agency on Saturday. Acting on intelligence information, paramilitary force Swat Scouts raided a hujra and arrested the militants. All the detainees belong to the outlawed Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan. Geedarh Group commander Munir Afridi was also arrested in the operation. The Geedarh Group is said to have orchestrated numerous organised attacks, including the December 16, 2014 Army Public School massacre and the June 27, 2014 firing on a PIA plane in Peshawar.
