Thousands of children from 34 slum communities of the capital are deprived of basic facilities and need immediate attention for ensuring 100 per cent enrolment in schools.
He said currently 63 children including 37 boys and 25 girls are enrolled in NCPC and are provided free pick and drop, uniforms, books and other facilities to enhance their interest in education.

Addressing a ceremony on Friday in connection with International Day against Child Labour, National Child Protection Centre (NCPC) Director Muhammad Yousaf Shah said that children are future of our country and street children have equal rights.
He said currently 63 children including 37 boys and 25 girls are enrolled in NCPC and are provided free pick and drop, uniforms, books and other facilities to enhance their interest in education.
