KARACHI:
Rangers on Friday evening briefly detained a constable reportedly attached with the Mominabad Police Station in Orangi Town, Karachi.

According to initial details, Rangers said they had tracked police constable Jan Muhammad for links with gangsters. They showed up at the police station to detain him.

Sources in the police said Rangers personnel misbehaved with them and also resorted to indiscriminate fire; however, no casualty was reported. They then took the constable away with them.
