Moody’s has upgraded Pakistan’s credit ratings, says Dar
He pointed out that Moody’s had downgraded Pakistan in 2012 due to deteriorating economic conditions

International credit rating agency Moody’s has upgraded Pakistan to the ‘B-3’ category, Finance Minister Ishaq Dar said on Thursday.
“I have just received an e-mail from Moody’s stating that Pakistan is being elevated from the CAA-1 category to the B-3 category which indicates economic stability,” he announced during proceedings of the National Assembly.
Dar congratulated lawmakers present in the house over the development, saying that the improvement in Pakistan’s rating came about due to economic growth and stability in the country under the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz government.
