Ugly trade: Two drug peddlers sent to prison
Additional district and sessions judges sentenced a woman to 12 months and a man to seven months imprisonment

Additional district and sessions judges on Wednesday sentenced a woman to 12 months and a man to seven months imprisonment for peddling hashish. Judge Sahir Islam sentenced Irshad Bibi to 12 months imprisonment. She was caught carrying 1,450 grams of hashish. The judge also fined her Rs10,000. Kahna police had registered a case against her. Judge Malik Shafique sentenced Nadeem to seven months imprisonment for carrying 500 grams of hashish. He fined him Rs5,000. Batapur police had registered against a case against him.
