Cricket: Triumphant blind team returns

Pakistan blind cricket team returns following a successful tour of South Africa.

KARACHI:
Pakistan blind cricket team returned home yesterday following a successful tour of South Africa where they won both the one-day and the Twenty20 series against the hosts.

The team recorded a clean sweep in the one-days besides winning the two Twenty20s against Proteas. They created two world records including the highest score in one-dayers when they amassed 517 in the second match. They won the match by 399 runs, recording the biggest win in history. The Pakistan Blind Council Chairman Sultan Shah said the team deserved a lot of praise for their performance which came despite little support.
