In a late night Twitter rant, Bollywood megastar Salman Khan threatened to quit the social media site over a heated argument with fans who compared him, SRK and Aamir Khan.

Since the three mended their relationship a year-and-a-half ago, the three Khans seem to be sticking up for each other. In this case, it was Salman who stood up for his friends Shah Rukh and Aamir on Twitter.

The Kick actor was clearly upset with fans constantly bickering over who the 'No. 1' star was and urged them to stop the hate.

Salman threatened to leave Twitter if the hating didn't end.

The superstar who is known for his acts of peace and kindness asked his fans to spread love amongst each other and ditch hatred.

He even explained that it wasn't about being number 1, it was about their friendship and didn't want his fans to disappoint him by tweeting harsh comments about his friends.

After a multitude of tweets to express his disapproval the megastar left the fate of his Twitter account in the hands of his fans.

He urged them to change their way of thinking for the better and asked those who refused to do so to unfollow him.

But right before leaving he requested his followers to 'make their own life' instead of sitting on Twitter and bashing other celebs.

Recently when Salman was going through a tough time dealing with court proceedings with regards to his hit-and-run case, Shah Rukh and Aamir went to visit him in his home to offer support.
