Sour relations: Case sought against runaway wife
Petitioner Sadam Hussain said he married Amira in 2012
LAHORE:
An additional district and sessions judge sought comments from the Shahdara SHO on Monday on a plea filed by a man seeking a case against his wife whom he accused of stealing jewellery and cash from him and “talking on the phone a lot”. Petitioner Sadam Hussain said he married Amira in 2012. He said she used to be glued to her phone all the time and when he’d ask who she was talking to, she’d say her cousins. He said he complained about that to her parents but she did not stop. He said that his wife had now left him and had taken away Rs0.3 million and jewellery worth Rs0.4 million. Hussain said he visited the police to file a complaint against Amira but the SHO did not register a case.
