Warning: Cyclone alert issued in Thatta
According to the local fishermen, over a hundred fishing boats are still in the sea

The district administrations of Thatta has issued a cyclone warning to the fishermen, advising them to avoid going to the sea till June 11. The district’s coastal rural towns are Keti Bunder, Kharo Chahn, Ghora Bari and Mirpur Sakro. The deputy commissioner, Nadeemur Rehman Memon, also put the health and revenue departments on alert. However, the people inhabiting the coastal islands have still not been evacuated. According to the local fishermen, over a hundred fishing boats are still in the sea. Winds of the tropical storm began to engulf Badin, Sujawal and Thatta districts on Monday evening.
