LAHORE: A petition has been filed before District and Sessions Judge Tariq Iftikhar Ahmed seeking an inquiry against some court staffers for preparing forged court orders to benefit a woman.

Petitioner Rubina Hayee told the court her father Abdul Haq died on September 2001 leaving behind a 10-marla house in Riwaz Garden. She said after his demise, her sister Shabnam Haq fraudulently prepared a ‘gift deed’ in her favour to deprive the petitioner of her share in the property.

Hayee said Shabnam later filed a civil suit with the connivance of some court staff. The suit, she said, did not bear any complaint number and was not entered in the register concerned. She said Shabnam had acquired a fake order sheet and made some entries in it to make the suit part of the judicial record.

“Court proceedings were initiated on the suit that was included in the judicial record long after Haq’s death,” Hayee said.

She requested an inquiry into the matter and disciplinary action against the delinquent court officials. “The registration of a criminal case should be ordered against such people. The court should also dismiss the suit.”
