LAHORE:
Lahore High Court on Friday dismissed as not maintainable pleas challenging legality of the judicial commission probing electoral rigging. Pakistan Lawyers’ Foundation AK Dogar and some others had filed the petitions submitting that the commission had been formed in violation of the Constitution. He said in light of the Supreme Court’s judgement, election matters could be raised in election tribunals only for which the election commission was the only judge.
