Road mishap: Six of a family killed in accident

The incident occurred when their car fell into a deep ravine near Domail in Bannu

BANNU: At least six members of a family from North Waziristan Agency were killed and an infant girl suffered injuries when their car fell into a deep ravine near Domail in Bannu on Thursday morning. The deceased were residing in Sada Khel area of Bannu as displaced people. Officials said the family was on its way from Bannu to Peshawar when the driver of the car lost control and the vehicle plunged into the ravine near Peer Bakhel. Six occupants of the vehicle lost their lives on the spot. The wounded infant, who suffered severe injuries, was admitted to the Divisional Headquarters Hospital in Bannu. Another child also lost its life in the same accident. Police have registered a case.
