A jail spokesman said Muhammad Abid, a resident of Chak 38-GB, had been sentenced to death awarded death by Additional Sessions Judge Shahid Rafiq after he was convicted of killing a man over a property dispute in 1998.
He said his appeals had been rejected by the high court, the Supreme Court and the president.
The spokesman said District and Sessions Judge Safdar Saleem had issued Abid’s death warrants and fixed June 9 for his execution.
