Crime: Two women robbed; car stolen

RAWALPINDI: Two women were robbed and a car was stolen from the New Town area during the last 24 hours. In the first incident, armed motorcyclists snatched jewellery, cash and mobile phones from Nusrat and her sister-in-law while they were travelling towards Commercial Market. Meanwhile, Amjad Mehmood reported to the same police that auto-thieves had stolen his car (KXO-257) from the porch of his house. The police registered separate cases under the relevant laws but have made no arrests or recoveries so far.
