French Open: Aisam, Rodionova lose mixed doubles quarter-finals

Pakistani tennis ace Aisamul Haq Qureshi and his Australian partner Anastasia Rodionova Bethanie crashed out of the mixed doubles tournament of the French Open on Tuesday.
They were beaten by American duo Bethanie Mattek-Sands and Mike Bryan 6-0, 7-6 (7-3).
Mattek-Sands and Bryan will now take on Katarina Srebotnik and Horia Tecau in the semi-finals.
Aisam and Rodionova had reached the last-eight after defeating sixth-seeded Daniel Nestor and Kristina Mladenovic 6-4, 6-3 in the second round.

Earlier, the duo had outplayed French pair Benoit Paire and Chloe Paquet 6-3, 7-5 in the first round.
Meanwhile, Lucie Hradecka and Marcin Matkowski of Czech Republic and Poland respectively beat 7-Timea Babos and Alexander Peya of Hungary and Austria 7-6(4) 3-6 10-8.
