Bring out the brolly: PDMA warns against rainstorms
Mushtaq Shah said a windstorm is expected to brace Peshawar and adjoining districts on Wednesday

Provincial Disaster Management Authority has issued a rainstorm alert to its district offices on Tuesday. According to PDMA spokesperson Latifur Rehman, the meteorological department has forewarned against rainstorms in different areas of the province in the current week.
“We are in contact with all district officials so timely relief can be provided to the public if needed,” said Rehman. He added Rescue 1122, civil defence and DC offices have also been advised to undertake precautionary measures. “An emergency control room will oversee developments.
