Sajid from union council Dhamtor fired at people he had clashed earlier during LG polls day

Three people were killed and the same were injured on Tuesday when a Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz candidate resorted to firing in Abbottabad as poll violence continues in the province.

PML-N candidate Sajid from union council Dhamtor opened fire in Fawara Chowk in Abbottabad on people he had clashed with during the day of local government elections.

The polls in the province were marred by violence as more than 11 people lost their lives in clashes in various cities.

On the day of the polls, there were several conflicts as clashes between Awami National Party (ANP) and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) workers broke out.

Further, at least seven people were killed and more than eight injured when unidentified men opened fired and hurled grenades at a celebratory gathering after the completion of local government elections in Tank district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Monday.
