INDIA:
At over 8-feet tall, Dharmendra Singh is known as India's tallest man. But the downside to incredible height is his struggle in finding both a job and a wife.

The 32-year-old from Meerut, Uttar Pradesh has a Master's desgree in Hindi; yet, the only job he has is at an amusement park.

"Whenever I went for interviews for jobs, people asked how I will work if I am so tall," he said in an interview.

Due to the lack of employment opportunities, Singh was forced to take up a job in the local amusement park, where he works as a freak show performer. People pay him to have their picture taken and he gets INR10 for every picture taken.

Singh has also expressed fears that he will never be able to find a wife.

"In terms of marriage, the main problem is my height. It will be very difficult to find someone who is tall enough for me. I think it is impossible," he said.

Due to his immense height, he also has trouble walking and fractured his hip bone a few months earlier.

No one in Singh's family is  exceptionally tall except for his maternal grandfather, who was 7 ft 3 in. He was often bullied by his peers as a child and was called names such as 'giraffe' and 'camel'. Some even said that his height made him 'hopeless'.

It's not all downhill, however. Singh says he feels like a celebrity when people constantly want to be photographed with him.

"I am immensely popular and it is all because of my height," he said adding that sometimes people "run away without paying."
