New Fiscal Year: Welfare of the poor prioritised in ADP

The Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Annual Development Program for the upcoming fiscal year will focus on the welfare and uplift of the poor as well as the youth and minorities. Development funds will also be devolved to the local government. According to a handout issued on Wednesday, Chief Minister Pervez Khattak approved ADP parameters for 2015-16 during a meeting. Finance Secretary Syed Badshah Bukhari briefed the attendees about the financial position of the province and the status of ongoing development schemes.
