Four 'BLA militants' involved in attack on president’s son arrested
The suspected militants are being questioned for further information
QUETTA:
Four suspects involved in the attack on President Mamnoon Hussain’s son in the industrial town of Hub on Thursday morning were arrested, Frontier Corps officials told The Express Tribune.
“Four people of the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) were arrested in the search operation,” FC spokesperson Khan Wassey said.

Acting on a tip off, FC conducted a search operation where in they arrested suspected militants involved in the attack on Salman Mamnoon on Sunday. As of now, the suspected militants are being questioned for more information.
At least three people were killed while 13 others, including four police personnel were wounded in a remote-controlled bomb blast possibly aimed at the convoy of President Mamnoon Hussain’s son in Hub, the industrial town of Balochistan, on Sunday evening.

“The convoys of the President’s son Salman Mamnoon and DPO Lasbela Bashir Brohi were passing by the area when a huge explosion occurred,” ASP Investigation Hub Jam Mandokhel told The Express Tribune.
“An ASI of the Karachi police and three other policemen on duty to guard the Salman sustained injuries,” he said.
Two suspects arrested in Dasht area
Later on Tuesday, two suspected militants were arrested in the Dasht area of the Kech District.
“The militants were involved in attacks on frontier corps and FWO’s construction,” FC spokesperson Khan Wassey told The Express Tribune.
He added that FC recovered automatic weapons from their custody.
