Maiden visit: President of Belarus due today
This will be the first ever visit by a Belarusian president to Pakistan
ISLAMABAD:
President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko will arrive here on Tuesday (today) on a two-day state visit to Pakistan at the invitation of President Mamnoon Hussain. This will be the first ever visit by a Belarusian president to Pakistan. The name Belarus is famous in Pakistan with relation to a popular tractor. A number of agreements especially in the areas of agriculture machinery, tractor plant, milk and dairy industry are expected to be signed during the visit. A former Soviet republic, Belarus established its resident mission in Islamabad in November last year.
