World environment day: NFEH to host series of eco-friendly events
United Nations Environment Programme will organise events from June 1 to June 7 to commemorate World Environment Day
KARACHI:
The National Forum for Environment and Health (NFEH), in collaboration with the United Nations Environment Programme, will organise events from June 1 to June 7 to commemorate World Environment Day, said NFEH president Muhammad Naeem Qureshi, on Monday. The events are aimed at spreading awareness among the general public about individual and collective efforts being made to seek effective solutions to environmental issues. The planned events include a festival, a seminar on food wastage, the removal of graffiti, a poster competition and lecture sessions.
