Promoting literature: Liaquat university holds book fair

LUMHS arranged a two-day book fair at its Jamshoro Campus on Monday

HYDERABAD:
The management of the Liaquat University of Medical and Health Sciences (LUMHS) arranged a two-day book fair at its Jamshoro Campus on Monday. LUMHS vice-chancellor Prof Noshad A Shaikh spoke about the benefits of reading books and lauded the organisers for taking the initiative to host the event. He said that students these days are occupied with their cell phones and computers but a large number of them still prefer reading books. This is an excellent effort to promote the culture of reading, he said, adding that reading helps build vocabulary and teaches students tricks and tips to use in their lives.
