Road accident: Van kills motorcyclist
Asif was rushed to Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences
ISLAMABAD:
A labourer was killed in a road accident in Sihala area on Saturday. Police said that Muhammad Asif, a native of Gujranwala, was driving to work when a speeding passenger van (LES-6083), driven by unidentified man, hit his motorcycle at a U-turn near Kak Pul and fled leaving his vehicle at the accident scene. Asif was rushed to Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences, where the doctors pronounced him dead. The police impounded the Toyota Hiace and are looking for the driver.
