Four suspects involved in Wagah Border attack killed in Karachi raid
Officials say the suspects were apprehended in injured condition and succumbed to their wounds
KARACHI:
Four suspected terrorists, who were allegedly involved in the Wagah Border attack in Lahore last year,were killed in a Karachi raid early on Friday morning.
The suspects allegedly belonged to the Omar Khurasani group, who were killed when the Counter Terrorism Department exchanged fire with the millitants in Karachi's Ittehad Town.
Police said that they had initially arrested the suspects in injured condition, but they later succumbed to their wounds.
Officials added that the suspects were involved in killing 55 people in the attack on Wagah Border, in injured condition.
