70-year-old man commits suicide
He was upset over business losses owing to construction of the metro bus.
ISLAMABAD:
A 70-year-old man shot himself dead with a 30-bore pistol at his home on Monday, said a police officer.
The Industrial Area police said Abid Ali Qureshi, a resident of Sector I-8/4, owned an electronics business in Rawalpindi.
The deceased’s wife told police that her husband was upset over business losses owing to construction of the metro bus.
Besides, Qureshi was a diabetic and a patient of blood pressure, said investigation officer Ali Raza.
The deceased had three children studying at local universities. After the postmortem, police handed over the body to the family.
