Corporate corner: Bancassurance agreement inked

State Life Insurance Corporation of Pakistan (SLIC) and Samba Bank Limited (subsidiary of Samba Financial Group, Saudi Arabia) have signed a bancassurance distribution agency agreement. Under this agreement, SLIC’s insurance products will be offered by Samba Bank Limited to existing and potential customers through its growing distribution channels. The agreement was signed by SLIC Bancassurance General Manager Gian Chand Kewalramani, Samba Bank Limited Consumer Banking Group Head Talal Javed and GBA Services Private Limited CEO Mohammad Naseem Rawther. This alliance between SLIC and Samba Bank Limited will provide the growing customer base of Samba Bank Limited with financial solutions offering protection and ensuring their financial security. With Samba Bank Limited as its new bancassurance partner, SLIC will look forward to a significant expansion of its business which will benefit from a wider, strategically located distribution network across the country.
