Dangerous roads: Three injured in road accidents

GUJRAT:
Three people were injured in as many road accidents in Gujrat on Sunday. Police said six-year-old Abdullah, a resident of Khalidabad, was seriously injured when he was hit by a speeding car near the railway station. The car driver fled. “Abdullah received injuries to the back and is being treated at a hospital,” police said. In the second accident, 40-year-old Salim, a resident of Muslimabad, was injured after being hit by a car on Jalalpur Jattan Road. Mashal Tanvir, 17, was injured while trying to cross the GT Road near Service Mor when she was hit by a car. The car driver fled. She is being treated for head injuries.
