KARACHI: Sindh High Court gave an ultimatum to IG Sindh and DG Rangers on Friday to submit a report regarding Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) workers who went missing after a targeted operation at Nine-Zero, Express News reported on Friday.

The bench was hearing a petition filed by MQM leader, Gulfaraz Khan, against the detention of the party workers, including senior leader Amir Khan, during the March 11 raid by the Rangers on the party’s headquarters.

In Friday's hearing MQM's counsel informed the court that nine workers of the party had been arrested from various locations in Karachi, however, they have not yet been presented for any of the allegations put on them.

"If the arrested workers have committed a crime, they should be presented in court for legal proceedings," he said.
