Aps Tragedy: Overseas tour for bereaved families

The federal government in its efforts to lessen the psychological trauma of the Army Public School massacre has offered to take the parents of the martyred students to Oman, Tajikistan and Turkey for ten days. The first group of 10 parents will go to Oman on May 22, while the second and third groups will visit Tajikistan and Turkey. After APS incident on December 16, the government had arranged Umrah for the members of bereaved families to draw their attention from the trauma. However, now the government decided to arrange excursion visits for parents of around 150 martyred students who were killed by Taliban in the school attack.
