Unhygienic conditions: City admin fines food outlets
ISLAMABAD:
Assistant Commissioner Shalimar Jawad Muzaffar on Wednesday fined five unhygienic food outlets Rs30,000 for failing to comply with food and hygiene laws during a surprise inspection in Sector F-10. The official also fined violators of the Prohibition of Smoking and Protection of Non-Smokers Health Ordinance 2002. Meanwhile, Assistant Commissioner Secretariat Waqas Rashid conducted an inspection of petrol pumps in Bhara Kau and Club Road and fined Rs75,000 on owners of 3 three pumps on account of faulty scales, less wages to workers, inadequate fire extinguishing arrangements and selling open fuel.
