ISLAMABAD:
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif said on Wednesday Pakistan wishes to further strengthen bilateral ties with Kuwait and increase cooperation in all fields. According to a statement, he was talking to Speaker of Kuwaiti National Assembly Marzouq al-Ghanim at the PM House. PM Nawaz briefed al-Ghanim about the parliamentary democratic system in Pakistan and the system of elections at each level. He said democratic institutions are gaining roots in the country and government is taking important decisions in consultation with all stakeholders, the statement said. Though the country still faces huge challenges like energy and terrorism, tangible steps were being taken to meet these challenges.
