Protesters raise banners saying privatisation is unacceptable.
FAISALABAD:
Scores of employees of the Faisalabad Electric Supply Company (FESCO) on Wednesday staged a protest demonstration at Jaranwala against proposed privatisation of the company.
The protestors chanted slogans against privatisation. They were carrying posters and banners saying, “Privatisation is unacceptable,” “Anti-worker policies will not be tolerated” and “FESCO workers will not allow privatisation.”
They blocked the road near FESCO office on Jaranwala Road and staged a sit-in there.
