Assets Reference Case : Zardari misses another hearing

The Rawalpindi Accountability Court accepted an exemption for former president Asif Ali Zardari from attendance in the assets reference case due to security concerns and adjourned the hearing till May 21. Judge Khalid Ranjha took up the case on Wednesday. Farooq Naik, counsel for Zardari, said the former president could not appear due to security concerns, therefore, an exemption be granted to him. “My client will appear in the court on the next hearing. The court accepted the plea and ordered Zardari to appear at the next hearing.
