Wapda’s Muhammad Ahmed scored the first goal in the 76th minute before teammate Zulfiqar Ali Shah doubled the score five minutes later. Wapda sit at the top of the table with 61 points while HBL are placed 13th with 18 points.
Meanwhile, KRL took an early lead against SSGC through Mehmood Khan in the 11th minute as they led 1-0 at the interval. Muhammad Qasim and Khan added to KRL’s woes as they netted goals in the 54th and the 69th minute to leave SSGC ruing their five failed attempts to score.
Pakistan Army dropped to fourth spot after drawing against National Bank of Pakistan.
